Okay...that last title is because none of the iTunes tags I talked about in my post from the 12th needs to actually occur...since the last server update apple has added that lovely "advanced" button when you submit a new blog entry...all you need to do is link to an .mov file and when you subscribe to the podcast in iTunes...it works like a charm... 
 
To subscribe to my podcasts, go into iTunes and click on the Advanced menu...click on subscribe to podcast...and type in the following: http://school.banneker.org/weblog/jperrine/?flavor=rss2 
 
On a separate note...after trying a few other demo products...which never worked, I have found a utility called MoviesformyPod that works great for converting quicktime files to iPod compatible videos...you can get it from versiontracker...and it's free. Dont' worry about trying the .m4p files...just use the function that says "Movie for Podcast"...couldn't be any easier...
